I am Groot,

Ehem! I'm sorry, I just watched that film... If I didn't I'd have posted this page sooner... ANYWAY!!
You know? One thing that always bothered me was when people repeteadly says how to write women, how some writers don't know how to do it, this always baffled me because... Writting a woman is just exactly as easy as writting a man... I mean... Really, I don't see where do people find the problem, hell, in fact! Just to prove my theory I switched the gender of one of the characters, that's right, Martha was as first thought out as Maxwell! But since I didn't had any female character yet and I wanted to prove this, I thought I might as well change it... Althought finding a new name was truly a pain thought, at first I was going to keep her name as Maxwell, as I seen some women do use it... But a big minority, and I didn't wanted any guy called Maxwell to feel akward just because that female character had his name (As Ángel, I know how it feels), so I went through a big list of girl names... Only to find out I didn't like any... So I guess Martha was just a random thought... Oh well...

Coming up next, we're going to have a quite long conversation, I'll try not to drag it too much, so guess new pages are coming soon...

lol love the frustration of the guy in panel 2 :XD:

and I agree on the writing women/men thing! I mean, yea there are some differences between genders, like some average differences in response tendencies and behaviours taught by culture/society, but that's like for the entire population, not every single person. in the end the only thing that really matters is the unique personality, and that's the same for both genders :P
